Below are this week's selections. Are you in agreement? Share your thoughts via the response area further down.
Shot-stopper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers could have been six behind at Bournemouth without him. Key display, delivered and demonstrated top ability. Excellent keeping to earn them a 2-2 draw. Losing could have dismantled their campaign.
Defensive unit
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's up there for player of the season. Fans mention Arsenal's squad. He is the standout player by a country mile.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): One would need to be a mad supporter to say 'Murillo nets and we'll beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You could have gotten massive odds on that. He was excellent. He is turning into a powerhouse. He is truly a tough opponent. Pleased to see him playing as he did previously.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I saw him a few times the previous season in Italy for AC Milan and he struggled from his faults. But at Newcastle he's impressed greatly. He has shown really strong and imposing and appears graceful. It appears he has secured a perfect fit.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not typically a left-back, rather a attacking-minded going forward. He is a excellent acquisition for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them discovering another star out of nowhere? I thought after selling Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the Seagulls understand what they're doing.
Midfielders
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they're in for the shared purpose. Their teams won, many mention the scorers, but without these two the squads falter. They perform brilliantly. They disrupt opposition, they join the offense.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The man of the moment. Many Arsenal fans, including my son, were questioning if he could be the man to lead them to success. Three goals in the local rivalry and supporters now wish to honor him permanently of him. Scoring, calmness, he controlled the game. The standout individual on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Possibly the only aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it will prove quite challenging to drop Morgan Rogers. My view was he had a great start this campaign, I think he acted with some expectation and hoped he might join to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he has settled down. A brilliant brace clearly versus Leeds helped his club from behind. He proved decisive.
Forwards
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he doesn't look his normal self. He appeared as if he was slower. However, incredible. Simply phenomenal. He shone. Brilliant in his play and with his two finishes.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He plays well, typically sharper as a substitute, but due to Gordon's absence so he has to play. He failed to convert a great opportunity against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. But to have the inner resilience to place himself into tough scenarios and net two was great.
Boss
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and beats Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. Possibly it was five or six for Forest and few would dispute.
