Vince Zampella, the mind behind the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in the state of California at the age of 55.
The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The renowned game designer lost his life when his car crashed and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, as reported by.
