Shocking Video Shows Instant Law Enforcement Suffer Blade Attacks in Unexpected Assault

Both Senior Officers Moments Prior to the Attacker Got Stunned

One ranking policeman that leaped to the aid of a partner that got attacked by a knifeman has been awarded the King's Commendation for Courage.

Sergeant Tim Ansell struggled against 27-year-old Jacob Brown subsequent to he placed a knife to the neck of his fellow officer Sgt Marc Foster.

Brown initiated the assault as the policemen and their third officer, PC Marcus Wolstencroft, were talking to a driver following a traffic accident in that location in mid-2023.

Brown stabbed and slashed the two Sgt Ansell and Sgt Foster before Police Constable Wolstencroft incapacitated him with a stun gun.

"Officer stabbed," the officer could be heard saying over his radio.

Officer-mounted and dashboard camera video shared by the police department depicted Brown, wearing in dark clothing with a hood up, run up to Sergeant Foster from behind with a weapon outstretched.

He collided with the policeman who lost balance and fell to the ground, before Sergeant Ansell jumped in and tried to wrestle him to the floor despite being continually attacked with the blade.

PC Wolstencroft Stunned the Assailant, Jacob Brown, with a Taser

Police Constable Wolstencroft pulled his stun gun and sought a clear shot, ending the confrontation to an end.

Sergeant Ansell stated audibly: "I need assistance on my neck now, I've been stabbed in the throat."

Sgt Ansell sustained two open wounds to his throat and more cuts to his arms and body, while Sgt Foster experienced cut injuries.

Officials stated Sergeant Foster used his bare hands to stem his fellow officer's blood loss prior to emergency responders came.

This most recent honor follows subsequent to the three officers were granted organizational Courage Honors in fall 2023 and the police federation award from the area officer association in April 2024.

They further earned a North West Bravery Award in mid-2024.

"The actions of the entire team in the end saved one another and resulted in no civilians endured any wounds."

Brown was sentenced to an indefinite hospital order in early 2024, according to the department.
